The Motivation for Penning the Annie Oakley Screenplay
Over the years at the televisions Oscar Awards, luminaries: Barbara Streisand, Patricia Arquette, Cate Blanchett, and more, during their acceptance speeches, all expressed the statement:
"We need more movies in reference to the special women of past and present"
Finally, so what's Annie got, that other young ladies may not have: virtue and humility, sentiments not often expressed by other competitors, average appearance, courage, maturity beyond her years, an easy sincere smile.
And could Annie handle a gun!
